Salamanca 0 -1 Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad will head into the final month of the season with a glimmer of hope for promotion after a very impressive win over Salamanca in a game where the winning margin should have been higher. An Imanol Agirretxe goal on 35 minutes was enough to win the game but unfortunately Zaragoza won again which means we are still hoping for a miracle. A home game against Cordoba awaits next Sunday so another win would keep the pressure on the top teams so for now the dream is still alive - just!

UD Salamanca: Biel Ribas, Gañán, Catalá, Pelegrini, Botelho, Dañobeitia (Álvaro, 77 mins), Bustos, Salva Sevilla, Paulo Sergio (Akinsola, 54 mins), Quique Martín and Miku.

Real Sociedad: Bravo, Labaka, Ansotegi, Castillo, Gerardo Rivas, Markel (Ros, 19 mins), Moha (Estrada, 78 mins), Prieto (Marcos, 71 mins), Necati and Agirretxe.
