Real Sociedad and Gimnàstic drew 0-0 this afternoon as Real were denied their fifth straight win. Both teams had chances to win the match but the best chance was missed by Sebastián Abreu as his penalty kick was saved by Rubén Pérez just before half-time. The penalty was awarded after Mairata was deemed to have handled the ball. Zubikarai should be very happy with his display as the keeper was forced into some fantastic saves. All in all i think both teams will be fairly happy with a point as either team could have won this and no-one really deserved to lose.
